This is a festival experience like no other, seeing it for yourself is the only way to understand exactly what Shambhala is. See you in Salmo, British Columbia soon.
Shambhala Music Festival began in 1998 with a grassroots vision—a gathering of 500 people at Salmo River Ranch for local art and music. Since then, it has grown to host 20,000 guests, crew, and artists, known affectionately as "Farmily," enjoying six themed stages with global and local talent.
After the festival, the ranch returns to its 500-acre working farm with cows, horses, and more. Shambhala is a celebration of music, art, community, and life in one of the world's most beautiful festival venues. Come experience the Shambhalove—it's all about the people on the dance floor.

The driving force behind Shambhala Music Festival’s extensive Harm Reduction is simple: "It’s all about the people on the dancefloor." Over the past 25 years, Shambhala has established itself as a leader in health and safety standards in the North American festival industry, and we plan to continue to lead this conversation well into the future.
